I was having lunch with a close friend 3 days back..
when we strike on the topic…
Assumption

He’s a young and hippy guy..
With a Great mind YET to be explode..
Powerful Potential will unleash when he’ve found the right key to it ..
Trust me ..
But ….
just one flaw..
His Assumption power is overflowing..
He makes too much assumption that might cause a downfall in certain aspect of things..

We discussed on this issue and he said this is called Analysis Paralysis.
Err…. I’ve no idea what’s that until he explained to me..
“This means when a person assume too much lahhh”

I looked up some information on this topic.. and enhanced his explanation with the help of technology.. Internet..

In my everyday life, I see plenty of situation surrounded with Analysis Paralysis..
Just yesterday when I was at my sister’s house.. We were all hit by this syndrome..
We were suppose to go for dinner with my Dad.. but he’s busy.. cannot make it in time..
Well, still gota eat dinner what…. so we go ahead without him..

Sister shouted, “What’s For Dinner?”
“Crystal Jade?”
“Airport?”
“Geylang Beef HorFan?”
“Parkway Parade?”
“Kopitiam below my sister’s block?”
“Sakura?”
“Macdonald’s?”

Half and hour past…..

No conclusion…
At this point of time.. I kept reminding my sis to think of Mrs Lam’s story.. because I saw abit of flame on her head…But.. not effective leh.. the flame just get bigger…Especially when my Brother in law is still meddling with their new Vid Cam..Hah!
Finally…

We settled on Burger king..
HaH~

If the whole of Singapore only serve Macdonald’s and Burger king..
Analysis Paralysis would never ever exists in this issue..
Not forgetting the flame on sista’s head..And the time wastage..
Either Burger King OR Macdonald’s…

These few days, I have been using the internet excessively..
Sourcing for really useful information, playing my online games (hEh~), chatting with my cousin from overseas and the list goes on..

I was hurrying back home..
As usual, I was minding my own business.. thinking about what holy and evil things that are going to happen in my lil life…. when someone stopped me in my path ..
A very unfamiliar lady…

I woke up from my coma..
then I saw behind her.. a very common sight..
Bunch of people with notpads on their hands..
asking people to do a little survey..

“Hmm.. Insurance Agents..” I thought..
No agents have successfuly convinced me before.. and she won’t be an expection also..
The rest is history..

During the Conversation I really tried to understand what type of language is she using..
I REALLY tried to understand..
But .. but …
I really don’t understand..
Because what I hear were illogical sentences…
“Put aside a sum of money for every month and 20 years later you will get a lump sum of money back with interest!”

Hmm…..
My dear friend that is reading my blog.. Does the above sentence appeal to you?
I won’t say ALL.. but I will still use the word, majority.
What’s going on with the majority of the current population?
Something is terribly wrong ..

Who is she?
She is a person that has taught me a Valuable lesson..
I still remember when I was in secondary 4, I got this Maths teacher.
She was a tall and slightly overweight lady, with a very high pitch voice.. a voice that can trigger any car alarm system…

Using her ultra high tone, she asked, ” Who didn’t do my homework that I gave out yesterday?”
I stood up..
and I was the ONLY one that stood up..
I remembered that the homework she gave us requires us to draw with a set of ruler..
I don’t have one ..hmmm….
so I decided to give it a miss..

If you have managed to grab hold of the Ultratic High Defination Glasses, you will be able to witness the most beautiful ripples of negative wave transmitting out of her head..
She Screamed ..
“Why Didn’t you do your homework?!?! Its very simple to do and takes less than 15 minutes to complete.. Why?! Why?!?! “

With the cheapest pair of innocent eyes I can afford,
I said.. “Because I forgot to bring my ruler..”
followed by Smile..
At this point of time, she Erupted..
Combined the virus of SARS, HFMD, Bird Flu, Mad cow Disease into 1 big molecule and multiply it by thousands and millions.. It can still be easily destroyed by the Lam-ernic wave emitting out of her..The classroom was filled to the brim with this Lam-ernic wave..

This time round you need the 2nd edition of Ultratic High Defination Glasses, then you can witness the Lam-ernic wave..
All hell break lose..For a good 15 minutes, the wave kept emitting ..
I couldn’t remember what she scold me…
because..I was busy..
I was thinking…
deeply…

How can a normal human being be so easily affected by others?
What I did..
1. Did nothing
2. Smile

With the action of this 2 simple task, I have the ablity to CONTROL her emotions..
Am I that powerful?
or is she that Weak?
No no …
I don’t allowed that in my life..
I will not let anyone that’s irrelevant in my life to affect my emotion so easily..
I will never allowed that to happen..
Never…

Some of you reading my post might be thinking…
“Your teacher perhaps care for you, otherwise she wouldn’t even bother to look at you in the first place… “
Maybe it’s True..?

I will never want to learn anything from a person that let others control his/her emotions so easily..
Its so unhealthy..
so illogical…

Think about this..
~How many times have others successfully irritated you unknowingly just by taking his time to use the ATM machine?

~How many times have a salesman successfully annoyed you by pestering you to buy his products, even though you have said “no” a million times ?

~How many times have you felt infuriated by a stranger that’s chatting on his mobile phone loudly in the public?

~How many times have you felt annoyed by a distant friend that show off his/her new ‘branded’ bag when he/she knows you can’t afford it?

Maybe its time to put an end to all these nonsenses yah?
Don’t be emotionally affected by people that’s irrelevant in your life…
Its unhealthy..
Very unhealthy …

Its 0458 when I am writing this entry..
Not going to bed, although my eyes are real tired..
Just enjoying the tranquilty of the night..
